The good news; our UK economy is finally showing signs of positive growth, the bad news; many people are still struggling to find ways to make ends meet, a situation set to continue for some time to come.

I know of people with young families who are juggling two or three jobs in order to provide for their families. People are looking at different ways to make money to improve their personal economy.

Jobs are in short supply, the idea of a job for life is now a thing of the pass; for people looking for ways to supplement their income, the internet may well be the answer.

Having searched the internet I've managed to come up with a few money making ideas. These money making ideas will not suit everyone, it is not intended to replace regular income but for some, it could be a good way to enhance earnings.

With the power of the internet, a combination of talent and passion the following money making ideas may help to put a little extra cash in some pockets.

Make money Testing the Web

Website and Apps owners are prepared to pay to watch real people use and test their site's performance for usability and bugs; by doing this, they are able to gain valuable information that will allow them to better meet their customers need.

Site owners need more insight into what their customers are looking for, how they do their research, why they choose one product over another and what confuses them, in short; how well their sites are performing.

Website owners are trying to take the guess work out of the equation by using personal experience, paying users to perform usability testing is said to be the secret weapon.

Some websites are notoriously difficult for users to navigate their way around, if like me, you are not prepared to waste precious time, or simply lack the inclination and patience to try figuring it all out, it's far simpler to hit the back button and bounce straight into the competitor's site.

By paying real people to test for usability and clarity and to evaluate their sites, the owners are able to identify problem areas which may benefit from intervention.

If you are the type of person who are reasonable articulate, observant and can think aloud, this may very well be just up your street.

About Performance testing.

Sites such as Usertesting.com use a panel of ' testers' to assess their customers websites. When ever a tester's demographic profile is requested, the tester have an opportunity to earn money.

Testers make use of the UserTesting online screen recorder to record a video which typically lasts about 15 minutes to show what actually happens on the screen.

Information is collected in relationship to the mouse movements, clicks, keystrokes and the users spoken comments while using the website that is being tested.

Testers are required to answer four questions in writing about their experience and are paid $10.00 for each completed website test and $15.00 for each completed mobile test. payment is made through Pay Pal.

Test involves a 20 minute recording and answer to four follow up written questions. If a client should request a refund because they are not satisfied with the performance tester, the tester do not get payed, this happen infrequently, less than 1% of the time according to UserTesting.com. Payments are made 7 day after job is completed.

Get paid $5000 per month by NASA to Stay in Bed

Have you been a bit over worked lately? Looking for an extended rest to catch up on your HP writing, this one is for you.

NASA pays big for participants to take part in their bed rest study.

The study is designed to help research the effects of zero gravity space travel on the human body.

I wasn't quit sure about this, the articles I read was first published in 2011, however, after checking the NASA government site there are still ads and application forms available for this study.

The study involves tilting of the body with head down and feet up for 70 days, 24 hours/day without getting out of bed, except for limited times for specific tests. Test will mimic astronaut's body during weightlessness of space flight. Participants can also take part in an exercise program.
