Bless you, sweet little baby boy

You flawless, shining light of joy

Grasp the baton and join the race

Wind behind you, sun on your face

Ten tiny fingers, ten wee toes

A winsome smile, the cutest nose

May truth and beauty guide your aim

And evil never know your name

Embrace your destiny with grace

Help make this world a better place

Strive to be all that you can be

Soul unique in this torrent sea

Burn as bright as the solar star

Be always proud of who you are

You will stumble and you may fall

But keep your eyes right on the ball

Push your boundaries as you grow

Find what's hidden behind the door

Pick your battles, but make them few

Never regret the things you do

Find balance, between heart and mind

Fight injustice where 'er you find

Have the courage to make mistakes

But Know when to apply the brakes

From each new day take something new

Make life your ultimate guru

This world of joy, where pain wound deep

I hope you'll laugh more than you weep

May angels wrap you in their arms

And keep you ever safe from harm
